We are all sinners
1ra. Juan's
Chapter 01
1: 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1: 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1:10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

We do not love the world

Chapter 02
2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not from the Father but from the world.
2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof but he who does the will of God abideth forever.
2:18 Children, it is the last hour; and as ye have heard that antichrist is coming, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that is the last time.


Who is the antichrist, the liar?

Chapter 02
2:22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
2:23 Whoever denies the Son has the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father.


Who is God and who the devil?

Chapter 03
3: 8 He who sins is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God, destroy the works of the devil.
3: 9 Whosoever is born of God practices sin, because God's seed remains in him; and he can not sin, because he is born of God.
3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness, and who does not love his brother is not from God.


We are testing the spirits of the prophets

Chapter 04
4: 1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
4: 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God;
4: 3 And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God; and this is the spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
4: 4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.
4: 5 They are of the world; therefore speak they of the world, and the world listens.
4: 6 We are of God; Whoever knows God listens to us; which is not of God heareth not us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.


God loved us first

Chapter 04
4: 7 Beloved, let us love one another; for love it is of God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
4: 8 Whoever does not love does not know God; for God is love.
4: 9 In this the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
4:10 In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
4:18 In love there is no fear, but perfect love casts out fear; because fear involves torment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.
4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
4:21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must also love his brother.


Whoever believes in Jesus conquers the world

Chapter 05
5: 1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten by him.
5: 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.
5: 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and his commandments are not burdensome.
5: 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.
5: 5 Who is it that overcomes the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God does not sin, but He who was born of God keeps him and the evil one does not touch him.
5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.
5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding to know him that is true; and we are in the true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
